The War is on…but have Monday nights truly changed?
March 9th, 2010 by Andy McNamara
The battle for pro-wrestling dominance began this evening as TNA Wrestling kicked off at 9pm to go head-to-head versus the WWE Universe.
I took the mindset of judging the success of each program this evening by which one held my attention longest and how often I switched channels. For this night, the edge goes to TNA […]
Monday Night Wars part deux
March 7th, 2010 by Andy McNamara
It is put up or shut up time for TNA Wrestling as they officially declare war on Monday nights and the WWE.
The focus on Impact will be the return to the ring of both Ric Flair (teaming with AJ Styles) and Hulk Hogan (partnering with Abyss) in a tag team main event. An interesting note is […]
WWE Royal Rumble Preview
January 29th, 2010 by Andy McNamara
Next to WrestleMania this is my favourite of the original big 4 pay-per-views. The winner of the over the top rope battle royal of course gains the opportunity to challenge any world champion for a main event title shot at WrestleMania. I hope the Rumble match itself delivers because the rest of the card looks […]
TNA Wrestling is dropping the ball…
January 22nd, 2010 by Andy McNamara
The Hulk Hogan/Eric Bischoff era continued this week on Impact and it looks like the wheels are starting to shake loose on this new TNA train.
The biggest point is that in the world title AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle main event they actually did…the Montreal Screw Job angle. That’s right a WWE occurrence from 1997 being relived […]

Welcome to the first Smackdown of 2010! The march to the Royal Rumble begins in a big way as a gigantic main event between former friends Rey Mysterio and Batista. Jericho and The Hart Dynasty tear the house down, along with a lot of other action. Lets rock and roll into the new year, onto […]

Well FAN Wrestling Nation I truly hope that all of you were able to catch WWE’s Raw and TNA’s Impact tonight. The hype surrounding the return of Bret “Hitman” Hart to WWE and debut of Hulk Hogan to TNA created a buzz that I have not felt in pro-wrestling in 8 years.
For the first time […]

Enough of DX!
December 15th, 2009 by Andy McNamara
FAN Wrestling Nation I will get right to the point here. I am currently watching the 3 hour Slammy Award edition of Raw with the sight and sound of D-Generation X making my stomach turn. Check that…the sight of the newly crowned Unified Tag Team Champions DX making my stomach turn.
The immature toilet humour, hawking […]

My day at a Pro-Wrestling Training Camp
November 30th, 2009 by Andy McNamara
Having been a professional wrestling fan for over 20 years there has always been a part of me that wondered what it would be like to actually step into the squared circle. Most sports entertainment enthusiasts have of course pictured themselves main eventing WrestleMania, but what about the sensation of taking a bump or having […]
