UPDATE: The CHEZ 106 HOSERS will perform Wednesday, February 22nd at The League of Rock’s session 2 kickoff at the Elmdale Tavern!

Session 2 of the Ottawa League Of Rock begins February 22nd at The Elmdale Tavern and there’s still some room if you’re a musician who would like to connect with other rockers to play in a band, make new friends and receive tips from the pros.

Last fall, I had a blast with the CHEZ 106 Hosers and we clicked so well that we decided to stay in touch and keep playing together.  In fact, we’re reuniting for a fundraiser and Leap Year’s Eve party on February 25th.   Details next post.

Again, as with the first session, the coaches will be Peter Fredette (Kim Mitchell), Dick Cooper (The Cooper Brothers), Graham Greer (The Barstool Prophets) and Topher Stott (Classic Albums Live) plus various other pros from week to week, all offering the benefit of their experience and expertise.

It’s a ten week experience of AWESOME, not to mention rock and roll, learning, playing live and recording.

This an example of the coaches’ comments and helpful advice you receive at the mid-session showcase.  They also drop in and help during rehearsal sessions.

This is a worthwhile experience.  The advice offered up either teaches you something you hadn’t considered before or reaffirms what you already practice.  Either way, you can’t help but be a better player.
