GOOD NEWS and a major step forward for fans waiting for Canada’s first
one-mile high banked oval designed by 4-time NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Jeff
Gordon, coupled with a 2.6 mile road course designed by former Formula One and
IndyCar driver Derek Daly!

Another major hurdle to getting this historic speed plant built has been removed!

A settlement has been reached with one of the major groups opposing the Canadian Motor Speedway project!

The “Citizens Coalition of Greater Fort Erie” and CMS developers have come to an agreement that will remove CCGF’s opposition to the development, as the critical Ontario Municipal Board hearing on CMS begins Monday morning in Fort Erie.

The settlement doesn’t mean the project will avoid the June 18th hearing before the OMB, but it will shorten the proceedings, which are expected to last two weeks.

To be located on the west side of the Queen Elizabeth Highway between Gilmore and Bowen Road in Fort Erie, CMS will be Canada’s first carbon-neutral speedway designed to have minimal impact on the environment.

It will also include a major educational component, an Engineering and Development Center for McMaster University.

Raceline Radio, the only motorsport radio show Canadian Motor Speedway has been talking to, will be covering the OMB hearing in Fort Erie!
