Hot rumour out of Indianapolis today: Tony Kanaan who fell through the cracks at Andretti Autosport when main sponsor 7-Eleven left, is going to sign on with Jimmy Vasser and Kevin Kalkhoven’s KV Racing Technology.
Paul Tracy used to race there, and PT’s still looking for the financial backing to ride with Conquest Racing.
We should have at least 26 cars in the field this year, and maybe damn close to 30 at some venues.
But if the series is capping fields at 26 cars, does that mean some have to go home?
As the series starts to get back on its feet, do you tell a sponsor, ” you ain’t runnin’?
That ain’t good at all…
