Officially, the 50th Anniversary of the Rolling Stones came and went this month, but Keith Richards had been quoted as saying the 50th should be marked from when Charlie Watts joined. That could mean 2013 will be the year.

There are a whole lot of online rumours that bassist Bill Wyman may be involved with the Stones anniversary plans. Wyman went into the studio with the guys in December for the first time 1992. Keith Richards told Rolling Stone “I think he’s up for it. We talked about it. I’ll let you know when I can.”

The big problem with Wyman joining the anniversary tour is same reason he quit the band in the first place: he was on a plane in a nasty storm during the ‘Steel Wheels’ tour and developed a fear of flying. He refuses to get on a plane unless absolutely necessary.
