Thursday’s Last Laugh

Thursday, October 22nd, 2009

A man approached a very beautiful woman shopping in Wal-Mart and said, “I’ve lost my wife here at Wal-Mart. Can you talk to me for a couple of minutes?”

The woman looked puzzled. “Why talk to me?” she asked.

“Because every time I talk to a woman with a chest like yours, my wife appears out of nowhere.”

Brett Thomson Big Hair Cut

Thursday, October 22nd, 2009

Yesterday morning, Mell and I went out to the Valley to watch Brett Thomson get his hair cut.  He’s been growing it for 2 years!  The hair was donated to the Cancer Society, where it will be turned into a wig for kids with Cancer.  Brett also raised $825 dollars.  Check out the pics, courtesy of Leanne Thomson’s Facebook page:

Wednesday’s Last Laugh

Wednesday, October 21st, 2009

A woman accompanied her husband to the doctor’s office.

After his checkup, the doctor called the wife into his office alone.

He said: “Your husband is suffering from a very severe stress disorder. If you don’t do the following, your husband will surely die. Each morning, fix him a healthy breakfast. Be pleasant at all times. For lunch, make him a nutritious meal. For dinner, prepare an especially nice meal for him. Don’t burden him with chores. Don’t discuss your problems with him; it will only make his stress worse. No nagging. And most importantly, make love with your husband several times a week. If you can do this for the next 10 months to a year, I think your husband will regain his health completely.”

On the way home, the husband asked his wife: “What did the doctor say?”

“He said you’re going to die,” she replied.

Hair Today..Gone Today

Wednesday, October 21st, 2009

It’s great to see young kids doing great things in our community.  This morning, we had 10 year old Brett Thomson on the air.  Brett has been growing his hair for 2 years and today, he’s going to get it cut at his school.  Why?  Well, as Brett told us, there are people in his family with cancer, so his hair will be used for cancer patients.  Great job Brett!  We also noticed an eerie similarity between Brett and Dee Snider!

Tuesday’s Last Laugh

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

A man went to the doctor and said: “Doctor, whenever I fart there’s no smell.”

Intrigued, the doctor asked he man if he could fart then and there, which the man did, very loudly.

The doctor sniffed a few times and said: “Yes, I think I know what the problem is,” and went out of his office. He came back a moment later with a very long stick with a menacing-looking hook on the end.

The man became very frightened and asked: “Doctor, what are you going to do with that thing?”

The doctor replied: “I’m going to open the window – there’s apparently something wrong with your nose!”

Booo..Ron Duguay Is Out!

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

Well, the unthinkable happened last night on CBC’s “Battle Of The Blades”.  Valley Boy, Ron “Duger” Duguay and his partner Barb Underhill were voted off the show!!  They were “beaten” by Tie Domi (I knew I hate the Leafs for a reason).  Ron may have lost, but he will always be #1 on the Hockey Charts!

Oh..and there is this!

And this dating tip from Ron;

You Need To See This Video!

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

Mell sent me this video.  Normally, she sends me some petty lame stuff, but this was different.  She finally got me to watch it.  Although it’s 2 years old, I had never seen it.  It’s a great story.  It’s like Adam Sandler’s “Waterboy”..except in real life!

Terry was driving down highway 69 on his way to Toronto when his wife called his cell phone.

“Terry, I just heard on the news that there’s a car going the wrong way on 69. Please be careful!”

“It’s not just one car,” said Terry, “It’s hundreds of them!”

Monday’s Last Laugh

Monday, October 19th, 2009

A lion in the Levack Zoo was lying in the sun licking its butt when a visitor turned to the zookeeper and said: “That’s a lazy old thing, isn’t it?”

“No way,” said the zookeeper: “It’s the most ferocious beast in the zoo. Why, just an hour ago, it dragged a Toronto Maple Leafs fan into the cage and completely devoured him.”

“That’s incredible” said the astonished visitor: “but why is it laying there licking its butt?”

“The poor thing is trying to get the taste out of its mouth.”
