A group of barge workers found a man’s body on the shore of the Fraser River on Monday.
It was discovered wedged between a log and a barge east of Matsqui Trail Regional Park.
So far the man hasn’t been identified.
However two people have gone missing after falling in the river over the last few weeks and it is possible the man is one of them.
The first was July 28th when a Hope man fell off some rocks while fishing near Yale.
The second was swept away August 11th when a boat he and two friends were in capsized.
A coroner has ruled out foul play.
i am one of the three that were on the boat on august 11th 2012 and was wondering if the identity has been announced yet?
