Friday night RCMP in Chilliwack broke up a grad party they felt was getting a little out of control.
About 200 people were at a party in the Swallow Crescent area, complete with DJ and strobe light.
Police called it a dangerous situation, saying some of the youths were trying to jump over a bonfire while others were being verbally and physically aggressive towards the officers.
Constable Tracy Wolbeck says officers see people behave in ways they normally never would when they’ve got the group mentality.
Police allowed those who were sober to get in their cars and called the parents of some of the other teens to come pick them up.
