Apologies for the lack in updates over the past two days, but as you can see below, there has been a plethora of MMA news over the past two days.

Canadian fans can rejoice as David `The Crow` Loiseau has resigned with the UFC, and is rumoured to be on the April UFC 97 card in Montreal. His rumoured opponent looks to be Ed `Short Fuse` Herman.

Another Canadian fan favourite, Jason `Dooms` Day will be making his octagon return in Columbus, as he takes on Kendall `Da Spyder` Grove at UFC 96. Day is coming off an elbow and bicep injury and is looking to make a huge statement in the middleweight division. A victory over Grove will raise many eye brows as he is already going into this fight as an underdog.

Speaking of the event in Montreal, we know Anderson Silva will be defending his middleweight title against Thales Leites, but below, there is a story that there may be a second title fight added to the card. If it does get signed, it will trump the 185 lbs title fight as the main event. Reason being, Dana White is hinting that the mega-rematch between Brock Lesnar and Frank Mir for the heavyweight championship, is being slated for April. It doesn’t take much to read between the lines.

Make sure you check out all of the UFC 93 content below, as well as a great preview video of the UFC 94 main event between GSP and BJ Penn. The UFC has also announced a ton of fights for big names like Josh Koscheck, Dustin Hazelett, Gray Maynard and Anthony Johnson.

The next few weeks will be pivotal for the growth of MMA as the State of New York will be discussing the legalization and sanctioning of the sport during their upcoming assembly. If they approve, put your seat belt on kids, because business of MMA will definitely be taking off in 2009.
