SAINT JOHN – Stanislav Galiev’s season came full circle on Sunday.

The Sea Dogs’ Russian forward scored twice to lead Saint John to a 7-2 triumph over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.

The goals came in his second game since missing the previous 44 with a broken wrist.

He hadn’t scored since September 24, in a 6-2 win over the Titan at Harbour Station.

Zack Phillips, Maxime Villemaire, Jonathan Huberdeau, Charlie Coyle and Spencer MacDonald each scored once.

Rookie goalie Sebastien Auger turned aside 22 shots for the win.

The Titan were missing their entire top offensive line, as Zach O’Brien, Matthew Bissonnette and Sebastien Trudeau were all nursing injuries.

NOTES: Sea Dog scratches were Devon Oliver-Dares (broken collarbone), Ryan Tesink (sore knee) and Jason Cameron….Huberdeau has now scored in three straight games (five goals) dating back to his game winner in Shawinigan….Defenceman Spencer MacDonald had a Gordie Howe Hat Trick (goal, assist, fight)…Leading goal scorer Danick Gauthier ended the night -1 – the only minus player for Saint John.
