Hello Sea Dogs fans!
Thank you so much for listening to Sea Dogs’ hockey on News 88.9 all season long! It was another wonderful season, with so many highlights both on and off the ice.
As we wrap up the 2012-13 campaign, here is a package of audio highlights from our broadcasts for your listening entertainment.

Sea Dogs Eliminated by Mooseheads

SAINT JOHN – The Saint John Sea Dogs have been eliminated from the QMJHL post-season after a 6-1 loss to the Halifax Mooseheads in Game 4 of their first round series at Harbour Station.
Maxime Villemaire had the only goal for the Sea Dogs.
Halifax won the series in a four-game sweep.

Sea Dogs Dominated by Mooseheads

SAINT JOHN – The Saint John Sea Dogs are on the brink of elimination from the QMJHL President’s Cup playoffs after dropping a 6-1 decision to the Halifax Mooseheads in Game 3 of their first round playoff series at Harbour Station.
Jurij Repe got the only goal for Saint John.

Mooseheads Edge Sea Dogs

HALIFAX – Matthew Boudreau’s power play goal with under eight minutes left in the third period proved to be the game winner, as the Halifax Mooseheads came from behind to defeat the Saint John Sea Dogs, 2-1, in Game 2 of their first round playoff match-up.
The Mooseheads now lead the best-of-seven series 2-0.
Maxime Villemaire scored the only goal for Saint John.

Sea Dogs Crushed by Mooseheads

HALIFAX – Martin Frk scored netted five goals and eight points as the Halifax Mooseheads crushed the Saint John Sea Dogs, 11-1, in the opening game if their first round President’s Cup playoff match-up.
Jason Cameron had the only goal for the Sea Dogs.
The Moose now have a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.

Sea Dogs Fall to Rocket

CHARLOTTETOWN – The PEI Rocket scored four unanswered goals in the third period on their way to an 8-5 victory over the Saint John Sea Dogs on the final day of the regular season.
Jason Cameron, Jakub Izacky, Pierre Durepos, Maxime Villemaire and Marcus Cuomo scored for the Sea Dogs.

Sea Dogs Fall to Mooseheads

HALIFAX – Andreas Tsogkas scored the only goal as the Saint John Sea Dogs fell 3-1 to the Halifax Mooseheads at the Halifax Metro Centre.
Saint John (23-43-1) has now dropped four games in a row.
The Mooseheads (57-6-3-1) have five straight victories.

Sea Dogs Defeated by Wildcats

MONCTON – The Moncton Wildcats scored four power play goals en route to a 6-1 victory over the Saint John Sea Dogs at the Moncton Coliseum.
Brett Malone had the only goal for Saint John (23-42-1), which, despite the loss, still won the season series, five wins to three.

Screaming Eagles Edge Sea Dogs

SYDNEY, NS – The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles scored two power play goals in the third period to come from behind and edge the Saint John Sea Dogs, 3-2, at Centre 200.
Maxime Villemaire and Michael Abbott scored for Saint John (23-41-1), which ended up winning the season series 5-3.

Sea Dogs Defeat Titan

SAINT JOHN – Stephen Anderson and Maxime Villemaire scored five minutes apart midway through the third period to give the Saint John Sea Dogs a 2-1 win over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in front of a sold-out crowd at Harbour Station.
Saint John (23-40-1) snapped a three-game losing skid in the team’s final home game of the regular season.
