5:15 PM COACH’S COMMENTARY
Hi everybody, it’s the coach Scott Taylor and it’s time now for the 92-CITI-FM Afternoon Coach’s Commentary. For Rondex Limited, your 3M-loyal dealer at 177 Isabel Street. Where people, paint and performance come first.
So the Bombers lost $1.2 million in 2009. Hmmmm. Considering they paid out $982,000 in severance payments to two coaches and slew of former employees, dropped $673,000 in corporate sponsorships, ticket sales and merchandise sales and fell another $150,000 in expected CFL revenue, they did pretty well to lose only $1.2 million.
Considering everything that happened, the real question is this: How did the CFL lose $150,000 per team in revenue when the league’s popularity has never been greater.
