THE REPORTS
7:15 NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE REPORT
Hi everybody, it’s the Coach Scott Taylor and it’s time now for the 92-CITI-FM National Hockey League Report. Brought to you by MAACO Collision and Auto Painting at 983 Wall Street.
Friday night I was sitting with Dallas Stars assistant GM Les Jackson at the Lightning-Rangers game in Tampa and he made an interesting comment. He believes the NHL needs to add eight more teams to the playoffs every year, not just for competitive reasons but for business reasons.
According to Jackson, if more teams made the playoffs fewer would lose big money. Makes sense. And with some thought, it could be practical, too.
8:15 NASCAR REPORT

The Sprint Cup drivers are getting set to drive hard and fast at Phoenix International this weekend and as we head into the seventh race of the season. After six, Jimmie Johnson leads the Sprint Cup standings by 14 points over Greg Biffle.
Matt Kenseth is third, 16 points back while Kevin Harvick is fourth 61 down. If Johnson is hot this weekend, that fifth straight title could start coming into focus.
5:15 PM COACH’S COMMENTARY
Hi everybody, it’s the coach Scott Taylor and it’s time now for the 92-CITI-FM Afternoon Coach’s Commentary. For Rondex Limited, your 3M-loyal dealer at 177 Isabel Street. Where people, paint and performance come first.
Saying he expects to win the Masters, Tiger Woods met the media at Augusta National Golf Club yesterday, and apologized to the fans and to his fellow professionals for, and I quote “what they had to endure” by being asked questions about Woods since his been away from the game.”
That’s it. The end of the mea culpas. Now it’s time for Tiger to play golf. The crowds loved him on Monday. They‘ll love him even more if he plays well and makes the cut.
