No Stampede For You

The Calgary Stampede is over for another year and I’m happy to report… I didn’t go. Again. Its been about 5 years since I went last time, and that was because I was going to the Kenny Chesney concert. I’d paid a ridiculous amount to go to the concert, I may as well go for the free Stampede too.
I hate the Stampede. I don’t like traffic. I don’t like crowds, And I don’t do rides. So really, whats the point?
Thats said… they’re numbers were good. Overall attendance remains the same over the past number of years at about 1-point-2 (m) million, but that’s about as high as it can go until there’s a Stampede expansion.
