Here we go again.  The next effort by oil company B-P to contain the flow of oil into the Gulf of Mexico involves a series of undersea robot manoeuvres.  What?  Really?

So B-P is now planning to try to cap its blown out well — since its top kill strategy failed.  The one that looked so promising for the first few hours.  But it, like all the other plans… failed.

And now marine scientists say what happens in the deep Gulf can “ripple across the food chain as creatures that inhabit the depths make forays to shallower waters to eat and be eaten.”

AND, president Obama says we likely won’t see any real progress, until August.  This is going great!!

I dont know why they wouldn’t try to cap it in the first place! It seems like the logical solution when everyone one on the palnet knew that the mud probably wouldn’t work. Ah common sense is a wonderful thing especially when billions of dollars, human life and animal life is all at stake.

I swear the only reason BP is taking so long to cap this well is because they want to be able to hook up to the well again. Really BP we know you’re English and have horrible teeth, but when is enough? Maybe if an American rig spews oil all over English waters this would get done sooner? What ends up meaning more the oil or environment, BP you need to get your act together and not worry about hooking back up to thw well just stop the oil. I’m sure ther are high paid scientists on your staff that can figure it out.
