Whats the worst thing about camping? Is is the drinking… the drunks? Well someone from the Alberta Parks Department thinks so because so campgrounds in Banff National Parks this year… are going to have a ban on liquor on long weekends.
Is that fair? If George and Mildred wanna bring scotch into a campground to have a totty before bed time… shouldn’t they be allowed too? Well not anymore. Its not banning liquor that campgrounds need… its more staff patrolling campsites at night to “police” the drunks. No one wants to get kicked out of their $45/night site. Tell them to shut-up, keep the paryting down, and there SHOULDN’T be a big problem.
I drink when I’m camping… I HATE camping so that helps with pain of actual camping. Don’t punish people like me, and George and Mildred, because of a group of drunks. Start doing a better job of controlling the campsites, and their won’t be a problem.
