    “Catching Bad Guys”

Was this not the reason for the now shelved internet snooping bill–remember—agree or your a child pornographer

I say—let them listen and look—then the Northern Republican party can see what the majority of Canadians REALLY think about them

Then maybe next time they will be careful for what they wish for

    Randall,
I have no issues about installing listening devices at airports to aid in security efforts and I’ll give three reasons: First, no one has any complaints with security cameras there. You are practically watched every step you take once you exit your cab at the departure level, so what’s the big deal about adding sound to video? Second, recording audio in the airport allows investigators to effectively identify persons of interest by voice in addition to their appearance – Especially if they use disguises (remember that young Asian guy who boarded a plane wearing a mask that looked like an old man?) But most importantly, I’m a military service member who has travelled around and I’m quite proud to live in a country that looks after it’s citizens. That’s right, it’s not “Orwellian Authority” at work here. It’s security officials who are real people just like you and me that are trying to look out for you, and not exploit the fact that you carry blow-up dolls in your carry-on luggage.
