Randall, in your comment from today you mentioned that Harper seems to have a tight hold on the purse strings, but if you look at just the last couple of years, you’ll see that Harper only keeps a tight hold on the purse strings when it come social assistance and services. For instance the debacles of Tony Clement making all those unnecessary to his riding for the G8 Summit even though the participants spent no time in his riding, Peter McKay taking that training flight from a fishing trip to attend a meeting and Paradis, currently under investigation about the hunting lodge. Non of these members of Harper’s Cabinet were held accountable for their misuse of tax payers money. Instead it seems to bee pandemic throughout the “Harper government”
