Love your rants, as a father of daughters you may appreciate this one. WHERE: Lisgar Collegiate Secondary School, WHEN: today, WHAT: girls 9-10 vollyball game, WHY am I e-mailing you?- a group of 10 Lisgar boys are sendindg catcalls from the stands towards the opposing team about how fat they are, how big their “boobs” are and how nice their “asses” are …these are quotes. As a parent in the stands I was about to get up when finally a Lisgar staff member (teacher? janitor?) told them to cut it out ,of course when the person in question left the gym they where back at it ; in front of the ref, and teacher coaches,,, this is a common occurrance , apparently basketball games are even worse. Is this what girls in sports are supposed to endure? The girls seemed to keep their focus, but still…food for thought.
