the question I have never heard asked is, the pipe broke in January, an extra pump was put in place the day it happened, we still had car washes, I still topped up my hot tub, I washed my truck in early April, why is it now that we are totally banned to do any of those?
- KenIf you don’t live here you don’t have an opinion, well… I do pay taxes in this great city of Ottawa, and yes I do have an opinion, I vote, I pay taxes , even if I live in a rural area with no city water, no paved road, no composting,no sewers, for what… I’m paying for you lady …your luxury in Manotick or Barrahaven, how do you think a businees owner feels, losing money.. meanwhile you southsiders with invade the north side of the city for car washes creating traffic jam hope you go to the Glebe ..by the way you should run for the bloc québécois you’ve got their attitude..not from here your opinion don’t count…are you willing to tell that to the imigrants…no….
- Cass HoltonYeah right Randal, we don,t want to hurt Shell, Petro-Can and Esso. Give your head a shake
- KevinI have read or heard several references to taxes and the city shouldn’t be able to ban water usage, well according to the city your taxes and I quote “Do NOT quarantee you a level of service”. I use to live in a new development in Orleans and the city 1) was not picking up our garbage so we were resorting to putting it in the construction bins scattered throughout the site, then the construction company started sending out letters advising us we were not allowed to that either, well the city did not pick up our garbage for another few months so we had no choice to ignore the builder and use the constructions bins and 2) were not plowing our streets either so the construction company would pass the front end loaders and backhoes on occasion, the roads were brutal and needless to say left many of us stuck too.
