I love your comments and I always agree with them.
This particular one about the crack heads in Vanier touched a nerve in me. I grew up in Vanier (and I still live there) and believe it or not, it used to be a very safe and beautiful place to live and bring up children. However, in the last 25 years or so, it’s been really bad with prostitutes, drugs and what not. Unfortunately, Vanier now has a bad reputation and it makes me very sad. I’m pushing 60 so I remember very well when it had beautiful houses and parks but now it’s infested with drugs and crack heads. In my opinion, the problem started in Vanier when they cleaned up the market area 20 or 30 years ago because of the prostitutes there so they just moved over to Vanier and it’s been a problem ever since.
Keep up the good work and we need more people like Mr. McConville.
