Members of FONOM and the Ministriy of Municipal Affairs and Housing are in North Bay this week to reconnect with northern communities.

Timmins mayor Tom Laughren along with Grand Ghief of the Mushkegowuk Council Stan Louttit , will speaking about affordable housing.

Highlights from the conference include, a forum with Minister of housing and aboriginal affairs Kathleen Wynne, and presentations on mining development and renewable energy.

The conference runs Wednesday to Friday May 11th.
