One man is dead and two other are in hospital during a late Tuesday morning ice rescue at barber’s bay
OPP say a man and his wife were attempting to save their dog from being stranded on the ice, when their boat capsized leaving them helpless as they too fell through the ice.
A third man, identified as Aurele Dupuis, 68, tried to assist the couple but he also fell through the ice and later died from hypothermia.
The couple remain in hospital in Iroquois Falls for hypothermia treatments.
