150 to 200 jobs could be created when the new Target store opens in Sudbury.
The American retailer has announced when a number of Zellers stores in Canada will be converted.
The Sudbury location in the Supermall on Lasalle Blvd. is expected to open it’s doors in the winter of 2013.
$10-million will be spent during the six to nine months the store will be closed for renovations.
Target will open it’s first Canadian stores next Spring with 135 expected by 2014 and beyond.
