A six-month investigation into Child Pornography wrapped up this week by the Greater Sudbury Police Services Cyber Crime Unit.

Since January 1st, Operation Schools Out has helped police make 13 arrests, search 26 homes and lay 44 charges.

Officers seized a large number of computers, electronic devices and data storage devices which allegedly contain images and videos of child porn.

Most recently two Sudbury men, 37-year old Darrell Suchaplas and 30-year old David Mullen are charged with possession, accessing and making available child pornography.

Some of the evidence found helped with three investigations in Sault Ste Marie, Parry Sound and Elliot Lake.

Operation Schools Out was funded from the Proceeds of Crime, Prevention and Enforcement of Internet Crimes Grant.
