Local residents are remembering the three teens that were killed by a drunk driver three years ago today.
Jazmine Houle, Caitlin Jelley and Steven Phillippe were killed as they walked along Highway 69 north in Hanmer.
Sudbury Police Chief Frank Elsner says they have made strides in getting the message out about the dangers of drinking an driving, but their efforts will continue.
Chief Elsner says it’s nice to see that the families and the communities have rallied around the cause.
The first annual Impact 6/21 Memorial Walk will be held tonight at 9 o’clock starting with a short rally at the Valley East Lions Hall.
