A dog has died after being left in a car in a mall parking lot in Vaughan, and a Sudbury couple is being held responsible.
Peel Police say the dog was left in the vehicle for at least two hours in yesterday’s heat.
Charged with causing unnecessary suffering to an animal are a 21 year old man and a 20 year old woman, both from Sudbury.
The couple faces a maximum sentence of two years in jail and a $60 000 fine if convicted.
