Espanola OPP are investigating a fatal collision involving a police cruiser on Sagomok first nation.
A vehicle crossed the centre-line and struck an Anishnabek Police Service car killing the passenger of the vehicle… 65 year old Wesley James Bob.
The driver, 26-year-old Lance Anthony Solomon faces seven charges including Impaired Operation causing death.
The police officer was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
