Meals on Wheels is launching a catering business in an attempt to become more self sufficient.

Manager of financial services Colleen Fraser says the hope is the catering will help support the programs the group offers.

Fraser says fundraisers held through out the year just weren’t enough to fund the services and hopes the catering program will solve that problem.

Renovations to the kitchen facility are needed to accommodate the switch to catering which is where money from their latest fund raising initiatives will go.
