While nothing has been released to the public, The Ministry of Labour has finished it’s report into the deaths of two workers at the Stobie Mine last June.
The report has been forwarded to the Ministry’s legal branch and it’s northern director.
The Ministry has a year to complete it’s report and act on it’s findings if warranted.
Separate reports have already been released by Vale and United Steelworkers Local 6500.
Jason Chenier and Jordan Fram were killed on June 8th, 2011 when they were struck by a run of muck at the 3,000 level.
