Volunteer Sudbury is ready for it’s annual campaign to inspire youth ages 14 to 18 to participate in community activities.

It’s called Change The World,  a three week campaign launched during National Volunteer Week.

The group received $25,000 in funding, presented today by M-P-P Rick Bartolucci who says this initiative encourages youth to support community activities while at the same time getting them involved in volunteering.

Activities will include a helmet clinic promoting brain injury awareness, a city wide clean-up blitz and electronic recycling and water protection events.

National Volunteer week is from April 15th to the 21st while Change the World runs until May 6th.
