The Road Warriors are back as the Sudbury Wolves defeated the Saginaw Spirit 6 – 4 last night at the Dow Event Centre in Saginaw, Michigan.
The Wolves trailed the game early but stormed back with help from Nathan Pancel with 2 goals and Josh Leivo with a goal and 2 assists
Michael Sgarbossa extended his point streak to 14 games with a goal and an assist.
Andrey Kuchin and Derek Shoenmakers also tallied for the Wolves who sit 4 points behind Brampton for 4th in the Eastern Conference.
Joel Vienneau made 29 saves for his 13th win of the season.
The local juniors have a Saturday evening match-up with the Plymouth Whalers, then return to Canada on Sunday for a matinee game with the Windsor Spitfires.
