A massive search effort resumed at daylight today for a missing 14-year old in Capreol.

The boy had been swimming with friends yesterday afternoon in the Vermillion River when he went missing.

A full-scale search by ground, water and air lasted until 10pm, but the teen still had not been found.

The OPP’s Underwater Dive Team will help with the search today.

Greater Sudbury Police are asking that pedestrian and vehicular traffic along Lakeshore Street be kept to a minimum.
