Two arrests with one traffic stop for Sudbury Police.
Yesterday afternoon a vehicle was stopped on Notre Dame Ave in Hanmer for going 80 kilometers in a posted 40 zone.
The 35-year old driver, already known to police, was charged with speeding and arrested and held for breaching the conditions of a long term supervision order.
Meantime…it was discovered the 23-year old passenger was wanted by North Bay Police on a drug charge.
He’s also now facing a charge for possessing a prohibited weapon here after a search found the suspect with a pair of brass knuckles.
