Patrick Roy is known as one of the greatest goalies of all time. This is his son:

here is his story…

Jonathan Roy was a goaltender for the Quebec Remparts in the QMJHL . In 2008 the Remparts were playing  the Chicoutimi Saguenéens when Roy skated across the entire rink and started to beat up the opposing goalie, Bobby Nadeau.

Nadeau did not want to fight. This did not stop Roy. He continued to punch him in and around the face.
After the fight he gave the crowd the finger and then beat up a defenceman.

This was Jonathan Roy’s last hockey game.

He was charged with Assault and was going to face up to 5 years in prison. He had a good lawyer, so instead he did community service.

So with hockey out of the way he went on to pressue a singing career. He currently has a single that is #35 on the Canadian Mainstream Chart.

Well, we tried!

Michelle and I went down to Iroquois Falls on Saturday to play in the Abitibi Eskimos annual 3 person scramble. We had a former Abitibi Eskimo rounding out our team, so I thought we might actually do well.. I thought hockey players made good golf players. I was wrong. But thank god it was best ball, or it would have been a long day! We didn’t come close to winning (I’m not even going to tell you what our score was) but we had a great day!!!! We barely got rained on, we met some awesome people, ate a delcious supper, and even made off with some pretty good prizes!

The winners, well they had a great day of golf! Dan Dube, Jarvis Peever and Shawn Cavar golfed a 59 (!!) and will get their names engraved on the Clyde Peever Memorial Trophy! Good game boys!

Okay.. this video is slightly stereotyipcal (women not knowing anything about sports.. *ahem* WE DO) but that’s the point, so I’ll get over it!

Hot in Cleveland is a new sitcom that I guess is doing pretty good.. I haven’t watched it, but everything Betty touches turns to gold, so it will probably be around for a while!

Joshua Sacco became a youtube hit after his dad posted his version of Herb Brooks’ Miracle speech… suit and all! And he performed the speech again, opening day 2010 at Fenway Park! Oh ya, did I tell you he’s only 5?! How cool is that guy!
