There’s some snow to brush off and some ice to scrape before heading out this morning. City streets are in basically good shape – with selective salting … meaning you’ll want to take some extra care, especilly around curves and at intersections where ice will form, until the snow melts. Highway 17 North was closed just after 5:30 yesterday due to poor driving conditions. It was re-opened by 2:30 this morning. Still, you can expect snow covered conditions if travelling East or North out of the Sault … with the highway becoming snow packed north of Montreal River.
