Rolling up your pennies before they go out of circulation? Habitat for Humanity Sault Ste. Marie and area will take them and put them to good use. Habitat has been collecting pennies at its ReStore for its “10 million pennies equals 1 house campaign.” The first deposit of pennies will be made tomorrow at 1:30pm, when 30,000 pennies will be taken to the Second Line and Korah RBC branch. Cans will also be left at RBC branches for bank customers to drop off for this fundraising campaign, with the money going to construction of a house for a family in need of safe affordable housing.
