It’s been a long time for Aerosmith fans since new music has come our way but come Nov. 6th, ‘Music From Another Dimension’ will finally hit the store shelves.  There will be 2 editions of the new album, one deemed a deluxe issue which boasts interviews, unreleased tracks and several videos while the plain jane effort is just that.  Here’s their trailer for the new album

Here’s Nickelback’s latest video in case you’ve got some time on your hands.  Kinda cool to see Jason Alexander (George from Seinfeld) and one of the Baywatch girls (I have no idea what her name is but it’s in the opening credits of the following)

If you’ve ever been fired up for a concert and walked away because it didn’t live up to your expectations, I know how you feel.  Cue Weyburn, SK and their arena because that’s where I traveled to see Volbeat, a band I’ve been very excited about for a couple of years.  My first opportunity to witness them live was less than stellar as I blame the sound-dude, not the band.  Unless you’re  familiar with Volbeat’s repatoire, it was Mission: Impossible to understand what the guys were singing about.  Immerse yourself underwater with cotton in your ears while your favorite band plays on the otherside of a brick wall with their speakers filled with mud and you get the general idea of how things sounded for the Volbeat gig.

Back at a time when when people watched MTV to watch music videos and not reality television, this day in 1981 marks the very first video that MTV ever played.  Just in case you wanted to torment yourself, here’s the video.
