New Aerosmith

It’s been a long time for Aerosmith fans since new music has come our way but come Nov. 6th, ‘Music From Another Dimension’ will finally hit the store shelves. There will be 2 editions of the new album, one deemed a deluxe issue which boasts interviews, unreleased tracks and several videos while the plain jane effort is just that. If you’ve ever been fired up for a concert and walked away because it didn’t live up to your expectations, I know how you feel. Cue Weyburn, SK and their arena because that’s where I traveled to see Volbeat, a band I’ve been very excited about for a couple of years. My first opportunity to witness them live was less than stellar as I blame the sound-dude, not the band. Unless you’re familiar with Volbeat’s repatoire, it was Mission: Impossible to understand what the guys were singing about. Immerse yourself underwater with cotton in your ears while your favorite band plays on the otherside of a brick wall with their speakers filled with mud and you get the general idea of how things sounded for the Volbeat gig.
