Meatloaf

Friday, February 24th, 2012

After talking about meatloaf on the morning show for a good day and half, I felt I should share some loaf of meat goodness.

I was thinking of sharing my recipe but then I got this recipe from a listener and it looks much tastier than what I was going to put down here.

With that being said, thank you to LAURA TORONTO for the following;

Soak 2/3 cup bread crumbs in 1 cup of milk in a large bowl, add 1/4 cup chopped onion, 1 & 1/2 pound ground beef, 2 eggs slightly beaten, 1 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp pepper, 1/4 tsp sage and add half this sauce. 8 Tbls brown sugar, 10 Tbls ketchup, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 2 tsp mustard.
Mix well and pack lighly in greased 2 large bread pans. Spread the remaining sauce on top of loafs. Bake 1 & 1/4 hours. No other meatloaf compairs.

The English Language

After a morning of discussing the English Language and how confusing it is at the best of times, I found the following to be very fitting.

Lazy Tuesday

For those who use their PVR to skip through commercials, you’re missing out on one of the greats.

Makes me Proud

Monday, February 13th, 2012

So a dude by the name of Ryan was listening to us from Scotland this morning when he dropped me a line regarding one of my pasttimes, Lucky Lager.

Turns out Ryan’s passion for Lucky Lager runs deeper than most.  Check out his Lucky Castle, made from 242 cases of Lucky Lager.

Ryan,  congrats on your lifetime man club card, I’m impressed.

Not Bad

Thursday, February 9th, 2012

I was a little skeptical when I heard that David Lee Roth was interviewing Alex and Eddie.  The scat-scootin’ wild man does more than a decent job.

If you’ve got some time, it’s worth checking out, especially if you’ve been a VH fan for a while.

Behind the Scenes

Tuesday, February 7th, 2012

I always enjoy video of the behind the scenes footage.  Good to know that rock and roll stars talk and dress the same as we do, well, kind of.

Got 5 minutes and sound?

Wednesday, February 1st, 2012

So Foo Fighters have bucked the trend of their usual comic like videos and have gone for something a little different in regards to their latest single, ‘These Days’.

I can always appreciate the home movie footage but what I really like about this video is the sea of fans that the guys in the band walk out to.

Don’t take my word for it though . . . . . . . ..
