Doesn't edmonton have 38 points?

yes, Jim, you are correct, but the suggestion from a fan on Overtime with Pat was if you take away the Flames 5 wins over the Oilers both would have the same number of points. Thus, take 10pts away from the Flames and add 10pt to the Oilers and both would have 48pts.

The problem is not on the ice it's in the dressing room. Insiders have long commented on the antics of Darly in the dressing room upsetting the players durring intermission. Let the coaches coach, what your doing insn't working. I'd suggest an owner in the dressing room every intermission to see what's really happening.

Frank, Darryl doesn't spend any time in the dressing room, during games. I see him upstairs where we are during every intermission in when he's at a Flames' game. PM

I thought the boys gave a good effort last night, but that merely underscores the fact that, even when playing up to their potential, they just aren't in the same league as the elite teams. This franchise seems to be stuck in a rut where they may have potential, and they may be a good squad, but they can't be taken as serious contenders. They just don't have the offensive talent that real contenders possess. I like the team, and I have great respect for all these athletes, but they will not contend for a cup or even a division title (or maybe even a playoff spot) the way they are constituted now. By the way ,Peter, you are the eternal optomist and I love your broadcasts.
