   After a “too long” summer (don’t like it when it starts in April), I’m back and ready to go for another hockey season.

  Have watching the Team Canada Orientation Camp at the Saddledome, the Flames hockey fire is building.

   The “Maher in the Morning” Show on The Fan960 resumes with Mike Richards on Aug.31. It will run Monday thru Friday at 8:05am until the end of the Flames season (hopefully June).

   The “Hockey Insider” Show also resumes on Aug. 31 on The Fan960 with Rob Kerr.  It runs Monday thru Friday at 5:05pm until the end of the Flames season.

   Mike Rogers, Rob Kerr and I are anxiously awaiting the Flames first pre-season game on Sept. 15 in the Saddledome vs New York Islanders.

   That is the same date this blog will return on a regular basis with blogs before and after Flames games.

   Hockey, again….Yeah Baby.
