Thanks for all the hard work you put into this assignment Pat. Congrats to the boys for their efforts throughout the year and I know they will be excited to defend their championship next year. Next season will not only be about what type of team will be on the floor to defend their title but this team also has a lot of questions about issues OFF the floor. I seriously hope they can be answered and resolved so that we can be fortunate to have this team represent our city in the NLL for many years to come.

Again, thanks for the coverage Pat, I hope you get the opportunity to do it again next year.

PS: Bob, it’s been a blast following the team all year with you! I really hope the NLL title for the Necks gives them a little more exposure and can help them push the average attendance up a thousand or 2 people. The whole league has a lot of issues to work out, no question. I just hope they can pinpoint correct markets and get competent ownership there to help grow this league.

You hit the nail on the head. I’ve been a rabid Roughnecks fan since 2003 and this was by far the best team they have ever had. It was great to be there to see the guys (Malawsky, Codd & Couling) finally get their time with the cup!! Great coverage through the season Pat… Can’t wait for next season!!

PS: Seeing those 3 guys win the Champions Cup was awesome. Couling had never won in 3 tries with Buffalo and then as soon as he leaves, the Bandits win! Codd has been all over this league and hasn’t won, and we all know about Curt. Seeing Malawsky crying in the locker room post game kinda shows you how much this means to these guys, even if they all have full time jobs.

Pat, just wanted to say thanks for the great coverage this season.

What a season, what a playoffs and what a championship. I had such a great time this year and was pretty much bawling and screaming during the last 20 seconds.

PS: Craig, thanks for supporting the team all year long. Just an unreal group of guys to be around and a real pleasure to get a chance to witness the title run. Not a more deserving group of guys I can think of!
