Mooseheads crack CHL top 10 list

December 15th, 2011 Tags:

The Halifax Mooseheads have cracked the CHL top 10 list this week for the first time in four years. The Herd sit in the tenth position with a 21-9-1-2 record.

“It’s exciting for everyone involved,” says General Manager Cam Russell. “Especially when you think of the last three years, being ranked 10th in the country is just exciting.”

The young team have made the honorable mention list this season, however this is their first ranking. The Mooseheads are fifth in the QMJHL, with just 33 games played. The top four teams have all played more games.

The last time the Moose were ranked in the CHL was almost exactly four years to the day on December 19, 2007.
