Cut on the blueline
Sixteen-year-old Brian Lovell will play another year of Midget AAA this year after the Mooseheads made another cut on the roster.
Lovell was selected 49th overall at June’s QMJHL entry draft. Scouts describe the 6-foot-1, 167-pound defenseman as a smooth skater that likes the physical game.
That leaves the Mooseheads roster with eight defensemen and 25 players on the full roster.
