Anthony Goulet leaves team
Anthony Goulet
Only nine defensemen are vying for a spot on the roster after the Mooseheads announced Thursday that 19-year-old Anthony Goulet has left the club citing personal reasons.
Goulet was picked up at the trade deadline last year last year in a trade with Victoriaville. The Mooseheads gave up a 4th round pick in the 2012 draft in exchange. Goulet dressed in 22 games for the Moose last season grabbing 2 penalty minutes and was a -9.
Two cuts remain on the blueline, however there is still a small possibility Goulet will return to the team. The departure leaves 31 players at camp.
