New faces added to training camp
The Mooseheads added a couple of new players to the training camp roster today.
The Herd picked up 6’0” 185lbs 17-year-old free agent defenseman MacKenzie Weegar. Weegar was selected by the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies after clearing OHL waivers last week. The Moose give up a 2012 9th round pick.
Weegar garnered 10 goals, 23 assists and 94 penalty minutes playing Ontario Junior B last season.
Also new to camp will be invite 17-year-old goaltender Brad Fraser. The 6-foot, 170 pound Fraser also played Ontario Junior B last season.
With the addition of Fraser the Mooseheads now have six goaltenders at camp.
