You're probably right Matthias. I've twriten off Jason Frasor for a long time - I didn't even think the Jays should've put him on the 25 man roster this year. I figured they were just doing it so they could trade him - but Frasor has pleasantly surprised us all so far!

When Gregg came in to save game 1 in Detroit yesterday, I was the "boy with the babbling heart".

What a shame they had to drop that nightcap as a 7-3 roadie would have been most excellent.

Enjoy 80's Night Mike. I wish I could be there but kids soccer coaching duties await.

I'd challenge you with some obscure 80's lyrics but will have to save that for the Live blog some time.

Jesse Litsch must have a claim to be unluckiest Jay since he came back. A record of 1 and 4 in 8 games and an ERA of 5.48 looks decidedly modest, but the real record has been of some outstanding pitching, a few incidences of 'one inning too many' and a couple of games blown by the bullpen.

There is something to be said for knowing how to win. And putting Brain Tallet--the worst pitcher on the roster--in the 8th inning of a two run ball game is not knowing how to win.

Another loss by the manager's stupidity !
Tough end to that one. After using Downs, Camp, and Gregg this afternoon and yesterday, our pen was down its best arms. Jesse Litsch pitched well but can't get us deep into games yet. Brian Tallet relieved him in the 6th with runners on the corners and 1 out and a 3 run lead. Tallet gave up a sac fly but that was all. He pitched a perfect 7th. I likely would have pulled him there. But without some of our best arms, Cito decided to keep him in. To start the 8th he gave up a single and hit a batter, before getting a popup. Jason Frasor came in."Game Over"
I don't know why Cito wouldn't use Purcey or Janssen ?
