To respond to your pronk answer, Hafner underachieving is a .280 hitter with 100 RBI's. You know as well as I that the jays will not get that type of production from anyone else on the team except if someone has an above average year.
Also man I think chemistry has alot to do with baseball and just like rolen has set the tone this year with his focus and professionalism, Hafner's experiance and raw talent would help develop Adam Lind and more importantly Alex Rios. I like Alex, but he seems just like the wrong type of guy you want on a team.

MW: I think the same of Hafner right now. I don't want anyone on my team whose power numbers have taken a massive, unexplainable drop in the recent past. Especially Hafner, since you'd have to pay through the nose in talent to get him and then pay him a ton of money over the next few years for production that you're completely unsure whether you'll get.

Oh Mike! (Now I'm starting to sound like Florence Henderson.) I know how much you hate it when someone calls a player garbage and I'm guilty of that in frustration but I don't mean it literally, but I apologize. You wanna really see garbage though Mike, all you gotta do is examine my love-life, but I'd bet you're not overly surprised to hear of that, Mike, and I can fully understand why. See you at the game tomorrow Mike. Tickets just arrived today. Know who's pitching, Mike? If I knew where you were located I'd come up and give ya a big handshake and buy you a ballpark frank anyway you like it just to show you that I still love ya!

Hey Mike what do you think about the power of prayer now, huh?

MW: You don't think Orioles fans were praying for a win, too?

He did with his bat and in a precarious situation which helped them get that rally going to win the game. He's a better hitter than alot of these guys. Why don't you pick on someone your own size?

As for the Sexson thing, I don't think we need to get another ex-hitter from Seattle. Brad Wilkerson is enough.

Burnett hasn't been terrible this season. He's .500, not .400. We're paying him to be better than that, but he's not a bad pitcher most of the time and he's an amazing pitcher some of the time. I do think we should trade him if we get something terrific back in the deal, but I'm not sure why so many people bag on him. He's not overpaid by most standards and we have had some great starts from him.

And how nice is it to be joint 4th in the division rather than last in the division!

PS. Funny Pronk was mentioned, I brought him up today. JMAC worked out with him in the offseason to improve his bat. I wonder if JMAC gave PRONK some poor hitting habits, lol.

Mike
Couple questions that have been bothering me for some time and absolutely no one knows.

1) What's the deal with Jaspe? Seems to be no talk about him at all. I know he was suspended, but he's back and killing it. And absolute rocket for an arm. Had a pretty good year average and OBP wise last year. He's not getting any younger why not promote him? Or is he just a Diaz v2? Even so, seems to have one of the best arms in the league. He's thrown out over 50% of runners, where I would guess the league average to be about 20-25%. Liuzza is also pretty good around 50%, but besides them, no one is really even close.

2) Why is Diaz in GCL? I know he was hurt, but he now has played 12 games in GCL?
Only thing I can think of is a log jam, and though quite off the wall, to work with Jimenez and the other catcher from DR, but that doesn't even really make sense. Diaz is from Puerto Rico.

Know anything on this or able to find out anything?

MW: Don't know, but able to find out.
