At the Fort McMurray Music Teacher’s Association Songwriter’s Competition concert last weekend I promised that I would do my best to showcase all the local talent I could. All you have to do is send me an email and I will gladly share your story. I wanted to kick things off by giving a shout out to boy Stu Marchand, who’s a fantastic singer/songwriter that did very well at the competition, and also happens to be good buddies with Mike Plume. Plume will be on the show tomorrow morning to talk about coming to Fort Mac to perform the Hockey Song and 8:30 Newfoundland at the Northern Classic. So, I thought now was as good a time as any to give Stu a shout out, and let you know that his new album is coming in December…watch and listen for it on Country 93.3!
