Great to be back after a break. Wait a minute, I was in Phoenix with buddies for an hour golf trip…..so, ok kinda a little bit nice to be back!

They a great initiative every year called the empty bowl benefit. Couple of weeks, local personalities gathered to paint some beautiful bowls. They’ve since been fired and are now being auctioned off at the site. All funds raised help to ensure there are no empty bowls of the hungry in our city.

Plus, my true motivation is that I don’t want to get beat (as in have my bowl for less) by some pinhead at another station. I’m so altruistic.

More than halfway through April and we’re looking forward to a weekend of snow! Those of you who already put the shovel in the basement and pulled out your patio furniture….what..did you just move here?

Lets hope the Flames even thing up on Saturday here in town and upset the Sharks in a game 7. It will be great for the city and everyone’s mood. For me, the bonus is that Eric stays on the road! He’s back Monday by the way.

My Mom has a keen eye when it comes to photos. Recently she sent us a pic of Liam and I from this past Christmas in Phoenix (that we had sent her prior) Along with that she included in an accompanying frame, a picture of my father and I when I was Liam’s age. The similarities of the photos is striking so I thought I’d share with you.

In no way do we condone the defacing of our ‘bus bench mugs’. The act is disgraceful and in fact illegal, the graffiti amounts to vandalizing private party. The heinous action also really hurts our feelings.

Take a deep breath and be thankful you (hopefully) got through this morning unscathed! Hoping your drive home will be easier than your drive in.

Thanks to all who contributed this morning with funny calls and driving in snow anecdotes (i’ll be in the car for 3 hours and my legs asleep….can i let my 11 year old take over driving?)

And yes, I appreciate all the fun made at my ‘Capri expense’. I have no defense other than it was supposed to be nice today and when I left the house at 4am…..it was!!!!
